Roast in 325 F. oven.

Rare: 22-26 minutes/pound 140 F. if you use a meat thermometer.

Medium: 26-30 minutes/pound 160 F. if you use a meat thermometer.

Well done: 33-35 minutes/pound 170 F. if you use a meat thermometer.

It might be a good idea to invest in a meat thermometer. They do not cost a fortune and than you will have one for a long time.

If you want to steam roast a piece of meat, than dip flour and salt and pepper and brown in hot fat in a heavy kettle and than add 1 cup of water and some onion. Cover tightly and simmer. You must watch so the water doesn't run out and the roast burns. You will get a gravy from this.
Usually one does this with the economy cuts of beef.
