Taco Salad Recipe

2#'s ground chuck or round
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 pkg. of taco seasoning
1 can beans, drained, optional

Head of lettuce, chopped
2-3 tomatoes, chopped
2 Lg. pkgs. of Mexican cheese

1 - 16 oz. bottle Thousand Island Dressing
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
1/2 T sugar
2 T taco sauce

1 bag Fritos

Brown hamburger, onion. Add taco seasonings. Drain and let cool.

Layer the hamburger, the lettuce and the tomatoes and cheese. Optional, can add one can drained beans

Let cool overnight.

Mix together dressing. Refrigerate overnight.

When you serve the taco salad, mix the layers up, pour the dressing over and then add one bag of fritos and mix all together. (This dish is served cold.)
