2 lbs. Cabbage (shred coarsely)
1 pepper (chopped)
2 carrots (sliced thin)
1 Bermuda onion (sliced thin)
1 cucumber
c. sugar
c. water
c. oil
c. white vinegar
2 tsps. salt (or to taste)

Let vegetables marinate at room temperature a few hours, then refrigerate. Will last for 10 days or longer.
