1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c applesauce
1/4 t baking soda
1/4 t baking powder
1/2 c nuts
1 1/4 c flour
1 t cinnamon
1 t allspice
1 t vanilla

Mix in order given.

Bake in oven for 325º for 35 minutes in 9 x 13 x 2 pan. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar while hot from the oven.
