1 c butter
1 c water
2 c all-purpose flour
2 c sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c sour cream
1 t almond extract
1 t baking soda

Frosting:
1/2 c butter
1/4 c milk
4 1/2 c confectioners' sugar
1/2 t almond extract
1 c chopped pecans, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine butter and water in a saucepan and heat to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir together flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Stir in butter mixture, eggs, sour cream, almond extract, salt and baking soda, stirring until smooth. Pour into a greased and floured 10 x 15 x 1 jellyroll pan. Bake 20 minutes or until pick inseted in center comes out clean.

Frosting:
Combine butter and milk in saucepan and heat to a boil. Remove from heat. Remove from heat and add sugar and almond extract. Beat until smooth. Spread frosting over warm cake. If desired, sprinkle with pecans.
