Cake Batter

2 2/3 Cup self-rising flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 c. margarine
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 tsp almond flavoring
1 tsp baking powder

Chocolate Fudge Icing

2 cups sugar
4 Tbsp cocoa
3/4 cup evaporated milk (carnation)
1 stick margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º Grease & flour 4 cake pans.
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Pour small amounts into each pany trying to make them as equal as possible. Bake until center is firm and light brown

Icing:
Combine sugar and cocoa in heavy saucepan. Add milk and stir until mixed. Add margarine and cook over medium heat, stirring often. Let boil for 2 minutes or until soft ball stage. Remove from heat and bea with a mixer until smooth. I add about 1 cup confectioners sugar to make more firm to spread.
