10 Slices white bread cut into cubes
1/2 cup melted butter/margarine
1/2 cup raisins
1 teaspoon cinnamon
6 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups hot milk
1 pinch nutmeg

CARAMEL SAUCE
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoon. light corn syrup
1 tablespoon rum

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees

In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, melted margarine, raisins, and cinnamon.
Mix well.
Transfer to a 2 quart greased baking dish.

Use the same bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in sugar, vanilla, and salt until sugar is dissolved.
Slowly whisk in hot milk

Pour egg mixture over bread cubes. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Set aside for 5 minutes.

Bake for 25-30 minutes (usually takes longer) or until knife comes out clean.
Remove from oven, let cool 10 minutes.


CARAMEL SAUCE
Mix all ingredients and Boil over medium heat 3-4 minutes or until slightly thickens.
Cool Slightly.
Serve with bread pudding.
