1 can (6 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained (reserve c. liquid)
c. butter
c. flour
1 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper
2 c. light cream
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. cubed turkey


Directions:
Directions:
Cook mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in cream, broth and reserved mushroom liquid. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Add turkey and heat thoroughly.

Serve over mashed potatoes or toast.

This has always been a favorite of our family. We love Thanksgiving dinner, but really look forward to turkey a la king on Black Friday.
