I c. raisins
1 c. sour cream
2 egg yolks
3/4 c sugar
2 T flour
1 t vanilla

Meringue:
3 egg whites
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t cream of tartar
3 T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cover raisin with water in saucepan. Boil 3 or 4 minutes. Add sour cream, which has been beaten with egg yolks, sugar and flour. Cook until thick. Add vanilla when removed from heat. Use egg whites for meringue.

Meringue:
Beat to a soft peak (it was still foamy.) Gradually add 1 T sugar per egg white, and beat to stiff peaks.

Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes or until brown.
