1-½ cups basil leaves
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
¼ cup pine nuts
2-4 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup olive oil
Additional olive oil for dipping
Bread for dipping

Directions:
Directions:
1. Using a food processor, combine basil, cheese, pine nuts, garlic, and salt.
2. Process until ingredients form a paste. Slowly add olive oil and process to combine.

To serve: Place a spoonful of pesto on a plate. Top generously with olive oil to create dipping consistency. Serve with crusty Italian bread or your favorite bread.

Create a meal: Mix pesto with olive oil and toss with pasta. Add cooked chicken and your choice of vegetables for a full meal.
