3 lbs. beef (stew or chuck roast) 2 cups chopped onions 2 or 3 chopped green peppers 1 6 oz. can tomato paste 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup cider vinegar 3 T. chili powder 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard
Combine ingredients and put into slow cooker in order given. Cover and cook on high for 8 hours. With wire whisk, stir mixture until meat is shredded. Serve on hamburger buns.
