Top round roast sliced thick. (¼ to ½ inch)
Cream of mushroom soup or golden mushroom soup
Onion sliced
Cooking wine (white or sherry)
S & P
Sliced fresh mushrooms

Mix cream of mushroom soup with generous amount of wine. Probably not enough, add more
Slice onion
Cut beef into thick slices
In crock pot or baking dish start with sauce, beef slices, S & P, onions and end with soup mixture
Add sliced mushrooms on top
S & P
Let cook for 4-5 hours in crock pot or 2-3 hours in baking dish on 300º
This goes well with mashed potatoes
