3 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk chocolate bar finely chopped or grated (if you have more chocolate save for garnish)
14 ounces condensed milk
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Garnish with:
whipped cream
leftover grated milk chocolate
peppermint sticks (I prefer the ones in the little bag or box over candy canes)

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a small bowl combine cocoa powder, and chocolate and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream. Over medium heat, bring to a simmer and stir constantly to prevent burning. Do not boil or it will burn!
3. Add about 1/2 cup of the heated milk to the small bowl of chocolate. Stir until
smooth. Slowly add to saucepan, whisking vigorously until completely combined.
3. Add condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes.
4. To serve, ladle into serving cups. Top with whipped cream, any leftover chocolate, and add a peppermint stick.
