4 potatoes peeled and cubed
2 medium onions, chopped.
1/2 c butter
3/4 c flour
2 Quarts milk
3 cans clams
2-3 tsp salt
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
PLACE POTATOES IN PAN AND BOIL FOR 12-15 MINUTES. IN ANOTHER PAN SAUTE ONIONS IN BUTTER , ADD FLOUR AND MIX UNTIL SMOOTH.

STIR IN MILK. COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT, STIRRING OFTEN UNTIL THICKENED AND BUBBLE. DRAIN POTATOES AND ADD TO KETTLE; ADD CLAMS AND REMAINING INGREDIENTS. SIMMER
