1 1/2 Gallon Homemade Ice Cream

1 Gallon Freezer

1. 3 1/2 cups sugar
2. 2 T flour
3 1 can evaporated milk
4 4 eggs (beaten)
5. pinch of salt
6. milk
7. 1/2 quart heavy cream
8. 5 T vanilla or add more to taste

1. 5 cups sugar
2. 3 T flour
3. 1 1/2 cans of evaporated milk
4. 6 eggs
5. pinch of salt
6. milk
7. 1/2 quart to a quart of heavy cream
8. 8 T of vanilla or add more to taste









Directions:
Directions:
Whisk sugar, flour and salt together
Scald evaporated milk, and pour over sugar mixture
Add beaten eggs to sugar mixture
Add cream, vanilla
Fill the freezer to full line



Strawberry Ice Cream- add, 1 quart frozen strawberries, blended in blender

Personal Notes:
If you have any egg particles in ice cream strain it, before you add cream and milk
It helps alot if ice cream container, and paddle are cold. I put mine in the deep freeze
