1/4 lb. Butter
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/3 Cup Sugar
3 Eggs
2 Cups Rolled Oats
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Walnuts or Pecans


1 1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Box Raisins
1 tsp. Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in water . Save 1 Cup of raisin juice for cookie mix. Dissolve baking soda in raisin juice.
Set aside.

Mix together butter, salt, vanilla, sugar, eggs, rolled oats, and flour. Stir in raisin water mixture. When all mixed together, add drained raisins and nuts.

Drop by spoonsful onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 12-15 minutes.

Let cool 5-10 minutes in pan before placing on cooling rack.
