1 cup flour
cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
cup milk
1 egg, well beaten
4 Tbsp butter, melted
tsp vanilla
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Butter or spray a regular size muffin pan.

Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl and set aside.

Whisk egg, milk, butter and vanilla together in a medium sized bowl and set aside.

Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk gently but quickly to blend.

Incorporate cheese into batter. Do not over mix.

Divide batter evenly into muffin cups. Bake 15-20 minutes or until tops are golden and springy to the touch.

Cool for 5 minutes before carefully removing biscuits. Makes 12 regular or 24 mini muffins.
