1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
6 ounces hot ketchup
1 tablespoon pickle relish
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound franks

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in hot oil until tender but not brown. Stir in ketchup, 1/4 cup water, relish, sugar and salt. Score franks (or slice) and add to sauce. Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
