Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
6 cups plain flour
2 T baking powder
1/4 c shortening
Warm water to make a soft dough (can add dry milk to water)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and work dough. Pinch off and roll into 3" balls. Let stand 5 minutes on board then roll out flat with rolling pin. prick with a fork and fry in very hot, deep shortening.

cooks very quickly about 5 seconds per side
