1 cup raisins
1 cup water
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1 T baking powder
1 T baking soda
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cook raisins in water; 5 minutes. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, raisins, applesauce add vanilla and mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 12 to 15 minutes. Yield (6 doz.)
