4 Cups Flour
5 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Lb Butter
4 Egg Yolks
Milk
2 Cans Fruit Fillings-Any
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, cutting in slowly. Add enough milk to egg yolks to make 3/4 cup. Beat until mixed. Add to dry mix and butter. Mix thoroughly. Roll out dough and press into cookie sheet. Reserve enough dough to make strips to cross-cross on top of cake. Spread fruit filling on dough. Criss-cross with the strips. Sprinkle strips with pinches of sugar. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
