Ingredients:  
1 cup shortening (or butter or 1/2 and 1/2 butter and butter flavored crisco)
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs

2-3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the shortening, sugar and eggs until well blended. Sift together the flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt and add to the wet mixture.

Shape dough into 1" balls and roll into this mixture:

2 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbls. sugar

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
