20 large mushrooms, caps and stems
4 T. butter or margarine
1 small onion
1 c. coarse bread crumbs
Salt, petter, pinch Oregano
c. grated cheese (Cheddar, Swiss or your choice)
3 T. cooking sherry

Directions:
Directions:
Wipe mushroom caps with damp paper towel: wash and chop stems.
Melt butter in skillet. Coat the mushroom caps with butter and arrange in shallow baking pan.
Add onion and chopped mushroom stems to butter remaining in skillet, cook until golden.
Add crumbs, seasoning and cheese. Toss to mix.
Stir in sherry. Fill mushroom caps and bake 10 minutes in a hot oven (400 F).
Serve immediately. Makes 20 stuffed mushrooms
