Chocolate Cake:
¼ lb. butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 lg. can Hershey syrup
1 cup sifted soft-rising cake flour

Topping
½ cup sugar
1/8 lb. margarine
1/3 cup milk
½ cup chopped nuts
½ package semi-sweet chocolate chips



Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and chocolate syrup, alternating. Grease oblong 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 deg. For 30-35 min.

Melt margarine and chocolate chips on low heat. Add sugar and milk. Stir. Boil for 5 mins. Stir frequently. After boiling, add nuts and pour over cake as soon as removed from pan.
