1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
½ cup blanched almonds, very finely ground
1 tbsp finely shredded lemon peel
1 egg
10 oz chocolate chips, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter in large bowl. Gradually add sugar. Beat until thick. Gradually add flour, beating on low until well combined. Stir in almonds and lemon peel. Divide dough into thirds. Roll each portion on lightly floured surface until 1/8 inch thick. Cut out with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Mix eggs and 1 tsp water. Brush over cookies. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet. Dip in chocolate.
