1/2 cup diced bacon
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup flour
4 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp celery salt
2 cups (no. 2 can) Cream style corn

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in heavy suacepan over medium heat until almost crisp. Add onion and cook until soft but not brown. Blend in flour, then add milk and cook and stir until thick and smooth.
Add corn and bring to boiling point, season.

(Note: for special occasions, may be served with spoonful of spiced whipped cream, made by combining 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/2 tsp cinnamon and whipped until stiff.
