7 lbs of large cucumbers sliced

Soak in this
2 cups pickling lime
2 gallons cold water
Let soak for 24 hours

Rinse several times and cover with cold water and let stand 3 hours. Drain and cover with the following mixture.
2 quarts vinegar
4 lbs sugar
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp stick cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Let stand over nite (sic) in the morning put on stove boil for 35 mins pack in hot glass jar and seal.
