1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large skillet. remove from heat and stir in sugar. Quickly add eggs and beat until well blended. Combine buttermilk with baking soda and stir into mixture. Stir in flour and salt. Pour batter into 8" square greased pan Bake 375 for 30-40 min
