12 Rhodes rolls, thawed but cold
zest from 2 lemons
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted

Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
- mix lemon zest with sugar
- cut rolls in half and place in a greased pan
- drizzle 1/4 cup of butter over rolls
- sprinkle with 1/2 of the lemon/sugar mix over the rolls
- cover with plastic wrap
- let rise till doubled in size
- preheat oven to 350º
- remove the plastic wrap
- sprinkle the remaining lemon/sugar mixture over the rolls
- bake for 20 - 25 minutes
- remove from oven and cool
- while cooling, mix the glaze ingredients together and pour over the lemon roll

***quick rise method: preheat the oven to 170º and place a pan of boiling water on the bottom rack of oven. after the oven is preheated, place the uncovered rolls on the middle rack in the oven. Turn the oven off. Rolls should rise within 30 minutes.
