4 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c milk
1 c sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 lemon, juice and grated rind

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the egg yolks with milk. Mix together flour, sugar and salt and add to egg and milk mixture. Add lemon juice and rind.

Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into custard. Pour into ramekins, set in a shallow pan with water halfway up the sides.

Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes.

Refrigerate. Top with whipped cream.

This reciipe is from an Ideals 'Gourmet on the Go' magazine. For those too young to know what that was, it was like a Hallmark magazine that came out every Christmas and occasionally other times of the year with a variety of recipes. I think this one came from my Mom and has been well used.
