1 lb ground Beef
1/2 lb ground Pork
1 medium onion, minced or grated
1 large egg
8 oz can tomato sauce
1/3 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 tsp salt and pepper (each)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meats, onion, egg, cereal, spices and 1/3 cup of tomato sauce in a large bowl. Mix well.
Put meat mixture into a loaf pan - top with remaining tomato sauce.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 60 minutes.
I use a turkey baster to remove the accumulated grease.
Let set a minute or two prior to slicing.

Makes great leftover sandwiches!!

Can substitute BBQ sauce for the tomato sauce for a sweeter loaf.
