Directions:
1. Open and roll out you pie crusts to fit a 9 inch pie plate. I use a deep dish pie plate.
2. Once crust is in the bottom of pie plate poke full of hole with fork, then put a layer of pinto beans in layer then put in preheated oven of 400ºF for about 7 minutes. Remove from oven and remove pinto beans from the crust.
3. Peel, core and slice all apples. Place in bowl of water with the 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice to keep them from turning brown while you work.
4. Once apples are finished drain water.
5. Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Mix well
6. Place in prepped pie crust and dot with the butter. Put on the top crust and put 4 small slice vent holes.
7. Bake in preheated oven of 400ºF for 40-45 minutes total
8. After 15-20 minutes into baking, cover the sides of the pie crust with foil or pie ring to keep from burning.
9. Pull from oven and cool.
