2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingred. and sift twice.
Work in butter with pastry cutter
Add egg (well beaten)
then milk.
Turn out on floured board and pat 1/2 in. thick.Cut with lg. biscuit cutter.
Bake 350 for 15 min or til done.

Add strawberry's and top with whipped cream.

I split each shortcake in half and put on serving plates. Put strawberry's on bottoms , then put on top and add more strawberry's and whipped cream. YUMMY
