Directions:
To bake the filet drizzle olive oil over the meat and use garlic salt and pepper to season the meat. This should take about 1 hour at a 375º. The internal temperature should reach 135º. Once rested, you will slice this roast as thin as possible.

Cut the onions and saute' in saucepan with oil and butter (tsp. each) until onions are somewhat caramelized. Add water and a lid to the pan to help caramelize the onions. Once done add a couple of cheese slices to the top of the onions.

Cut the Italian Bread in half and make garlic bread, spread the garlic butter on the bread and place in oven to slightly brown.
On the top side of the bread, you can add either your provolone or the american cheese and place back in oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and on the bottom layer of the bread add your thinly sliced meat. Then add your caramelized cheesy onions on top of the meat. Add the top piece of the bread to the sandwich and place back in the oven for 5 minutes.

Personal Notes:
This steak sandwich is unlike any another other steak sandwich you have ever had. The filet mignon and garlic bread adds so much flavor to the sandwich. You can also add peppers or mushrooms to the sandwich.
