Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My Dad used to have the contract for picking up garbage in Grande Prairie. I loved to go with him in his big truck and he always stopped at a place called Clark's auto court and bought me my favorite candies-burnt candy peanuts. You know, the red bumpy candy covered peanuts.

Anyways, one day as he was picking up the garbage, someone had left a waffle iron beside their garbage can. It looked almost new, so he put it in the truck and brought it home. Mom had never made waffles until then and I have no idea where she got this recipe from, as there wasn't google to search, but this is the recipe I still use.
