1/3 c butter, slightly warmed
1 c brown sugar
2 tbsp. cream or milk(I use cream)
1 egg beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c currants
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional-she used walnuts)

Directions:

Beat the egg, add sugar, warmed butter and the rest of the ingredients.

Mix well and our into unbaked tart shells. Don't overfill!

Bake at 400 for about 10 mins.

This makes 1 1/2 dozen large tarts. I make them in the mini muffin tins as it gives you a taste without feeling like you ate the whole pie! It will probably make about 3 dozen minis.
