3 Cups Raw Peanuts
2 ½ Cups sugar
⅔ Cup white Karo Syrup
½ Cup evaporated milk
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
2-4 drops red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients in heavy 3-4 qt sauce pan. Cook over med-low heat for 1 hr. and 10 minutes. Mixture should bubble like heavy simmer. Mixture will darken in color. Stir frequently to prevent burning or scorching. Forms very soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat, stir and add butter, vanilla and red food coloring. Let cool for 3-5 minutes, then hand beat or stir until creamy and slightly thickened. Drop by a soup spoon on buttered aluminum foil cover cookie sheet. Let cool ready to eat or save in air tight container up to a month. Consistency.is much like fudge during pour stage. It cools fast so work fast when spooning out on cookie sheet.
