1/3 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Fudge icing:

1 cup brown sugar
4 Tblsp. butter
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a saucepan, remove, stir in brown sugar and egg. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Spread in 9 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Frost with fudge icing.
Put brown sugar, butter, and milk in the saucepan. Cook on medium heat for 4 minutes. Remove from heat, beat in 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup icing sugar. Spread over cake. Let cool.
