1 18-oz. jar creamy peanut butter
½ c. butter, softened
1 lb. powdered sugar (about 3½ c.)
1 T. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
3 to 4 oz. paraffin wax

Directions:
Directions:
Cream peanut butter and butter. Add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Form into 1" diameter balls and refrigerate.
Melt chocolate chips with paraffin wax in double boiler. Dip balls about ¾" deep into chocolate with toothpick. Place chocolate side down on waxed paper. Refrigerate.

This reminds me that Mom gave me a real buckeye to carry with me at all times for luck. I still carry it and have had "luck," both good and bad!
