1 T. olive oil
1 lb. round steak, cut into cubes
1 lb. hot Italian sausage, casings removed
2 large onions, chopped
1 28 oz. canned tomatoes, chopped, with juice
1 19 oz. can red chili beans
1 19 oz. can black beans
1 5 oz. can tomato paste
½ c. red wine
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 T. chili powder
1 T. oregano
1 T. dijon mustard
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp. red pepper flakes
½ tsp. salt
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped

Garnishes:
Shredded cheese
Chopped red onions
Tortilla chips
Sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add steak cubes and cook 7-8 minutes, browning on all sides.
Using slotted spoon, transfer to slow cooker.
Return pan with juices to heat, add sausage and onions to cook.
Transfer to slow cooker.
Add all other ingredients except peppers and garnishes.
Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Add peppers and cook for another 20 minutes.

Serve with garnishes.
