3 cups onion
2 T. Butter
4 cups beef consomme
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 thin slices French bread, toasted
Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions in butter-stir occasionally. Add consomme and Worcestershire, heat to aboiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer bout 30 minutes. Place ½ slice toast in each of 4 of 4 bowls. Pour in hot soup and sprinkle with cheese.
