6 slices bacon, diced & fried lightly
6 medium potatoes, peeled & diced
1 cup celery, diced finely
1 cup onion, diced finely
2-10 oz. Bottles of clam juice
2-12 oz. cans evaporated milk
1-51 oz. can chopped sea clams, drained, set aside juice
1 tsp. White pepper
¼ cup corn starch
¼ cup milk

In 5 qt. soup pot, brown bacon, add celery and onion. Add clam juice from clams, 2 bottles and potatoes. Bring to a boil and lower heat to med-low, cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Add canned milk, and stir in corn starch mixed with milk to thicken about 3 minutes on medium heat. Add clams and heat two to three minutes.
