Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups creamy peanut butter (18 oz. jar)
1 lb. powdered sugar
¼ tsp. salt
¾ stick butter melted
Mix well with spoon and then your hands until blended. Shape into little balls - 1 in. in diameter. Refrigerate in a covered container for at least 8 hours.

Directions:
Directions:
Melt together 12 oz. package semi sweet chocolate chips and ½ of a quarter pound bar of paraffin. I melt this in a double boiler over hot water rather than in the microwave. It keeps the chocolate and paraffin nice and liquid for the dipping. Use rounded toothpick and place in a ball, one at a time, and dip in the chocolate mixture. Cover the ball except for a circle at the top so the it looks like a real buckeye. Put on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and refrigerate. These freeze very well. Makes 60 - to 75 buckeyes depending on the size. Sometimes I melt a small amount of butterscotch chips and place on the circle.

Personal Notes:
Andre has had Grandma Karene make these for his elementary class treats several times. This recipe was given to Kayla by a client. Yummy!
