Pineapple Drop Cookies Recipe

1/3 c. crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 T. hot water
1 c. flour
1/4 t. baking soda
1/4 c. or 1 sm. can pineapple, crushed, drained

Icing
1 T. butter or oleo
2 T. pineapple juice
1 c. sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream fat and sugar. Add beaten egg and dry ingredients. Stir in hot water and then the pineapple. Drop off a teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Do not drop very close together. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350º.

Icing:
Mix together until smooth and of a consistency to spread without running.

Makes 2 dozen.
