1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
5 apples, chopped, about 2 1/2 c.
1 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. nutmeg
1 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. salt

Sauce:
1 c. sugar
2 T flour
1 1/2 c. milk
Dash of salt (1/4 t.)
2 T. butter
1 t, vanilla
nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Bake 30 minutes at 325º for metal pans. Not so hot for glass.

Cook sauce. Add vanilla and sprinkle with nutmeg. Pour over pudding.
