¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
100 grams 70% dark chocolate ( about 3 ½ oz., chopped)
vanilla ice cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375ºF and place oven rack in lower third of oven.
Spray a 10 in. cast iron or oven proof skillet with cooking spray; set aside.
In a large bowl, using electric mixer, beat together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy for about 1 minute.
Beat in egg, then egg yolk.
Beat in vanilla until combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Place into prepared pan. Bake until slight golden brown for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the dark chocolate. Slightly press down dark chocolate. Bake for another 15 minutes until browned and puffed.

Cool for 15 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
