1 lb butter
1 cup sugar
4 cup flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
5 - 6 apples
¾ cup brown sugar
½ - 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF.
Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add the flour mixed with the baking powder.
Spread a little bit more than ½ of the dough into the bottom of a glass 9 x 13 baking dish.

Peel, core and slice the apples.
Mix with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Spread the apple mixture on top of the dough.

Roll the remaining dough into tubes and place around the edge of the dish and also along the length and width of the top, forming a pretty lattice pattern.

Bake for approximaley 1 hour.
