Apple Filling


Ingredients:

5-6 large apples (peeled and sliced)
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
¼ cup sugar
a sprinkle of salt


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Butter a 9x13 glass baking dish. Mix all of the above ingredients together and put into the baking dish.
 

Topping

⅔ cup butter
1 cup flour
1 cup large flake oatmeal
1 ⅓ cups packed brown sugar
sprinkle of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Using a pastry cutter or 2 knives cut the above ingredients together. Place over the apples and bake. Bake for 35 minutes, or until apples are soft when pierced with a fork.
