Filling:
5 cups sliced apples ( I used Gravenstien)
¼ cup white sugar,
2 tsp flour,
½ tsp Epicure Apple Pie Spice (or ¼ tsp each cinnamon and nutmeg)
¼ cup water

Crumble:
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
½ tsp Epicure Apple Pie Spice
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ cup melted butter.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF and spray an 8x8 Pyrex baking dish. Mix filling ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix crumble ingredients in a medium bowl. Press half the crumble into the bottom of baking dish, add the filling and then loosely add crumble over the top. Bake for 40 minutes

**This is plenty if using crumble on bottom and top of an 8x8 dish. If using only on top, use a 9x13 dish and more apples.
