8 oz. black beans, soaked and drained (or 2 cans black beans, drained)
5 c. water
2 large onions
⅔ c. buckwheat flour
1 T. soy sauce
1-2 tsp. sage
1 T. sesame oil
4-6 oz. mushrooms, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Dice onions and saute in oil until soft.
Add in all other ingredients. Combine.
Place in a cool place to blend and firm up.

Divide mixtures into 8 balls; flatten in hand to form burgers.
Fry over moderate heat or bake in oven until heated through and browned on outside.
